Then there's Allie, a singer who covers songs for commercials. She plans to go out with her friend Jacinta to find meaningful connections, but Jacinta quickly finds someone and leaves Allie on her own.

Owen, understandably upset, goes to his mother Linda's apartment to moan about his breakup. But Linda has her own plans with her partner, Rick, and tells Owen he needs to leave. Outside Allie's apartment, Owen and Allie briefly bump into each other. Unfortunately, Owen vomits up the sushi he just ate, and they part ways.

Owen heads to a bar and starts chatting with the bartender, who agrees to hook up with him after her shift. He then races around the neighborhood trying to find a condom, but everywhere is sold out.
