So, the story kicks off in 1992 with an Acme scientist, Dr. Peter Lorre, sending a secret message before being trapped in an Acme portable hole. Fast forward 30 years, and Wile E. Coyote, frustrated with his never-ending chase of the Road Runner, sees an ad for a law firm that handles cartoon violence cases. He decides to sue Acme for all the defective products he’s used.

He meets with Kevin Avery, the senior partner, who prefers to settle cases to avoid risky trials. But Wile E. isn't having it – he rejects Acme's settlement offer, brought by their lawyer Buddy Crane, and forces a trial. Kevin's niece and intern, Paige, is super keen to go to court. They try to get the Road Runner to testify, but he's too fast to subpoena! Meanwhile, Acme executive Foghorn Leghorn tells Buddy to keep corporate secrets under wraps.

After a rough start in court, Kevin gets a tip from an anonymous whistleblower. He meets Daffy Duck, a former Acme employee, who shares Lorre's 1992 warning about "Project Sisyphus." Kevin tries to help but gets knocked out.
