### What Happens
The story begins at Visakhapatnam harbour. Simon runs a gold and luxury watch trafficking business through "Kingpin Logistics." His son, Arjun, is a customs officer and wants nothing to do with his father's crimes. Simon's lieutenant, Dayalan "Dayal," kills Palanisamy, an undercover police officer posing as a coolie. Dayal then offers a big reward of ₹2 crore for exposing another undercover officer within the gang.
In Chennai, Devaraj "Deva" manages a strict boarding house. He learns his friend Rajasekhar has died and attends the funeral. Rajasekhar's daughter, Preethi, drives Deva away. A drunken friend, Ravi, tells Deva that he and Rajasekhar ruined their lives. This makes Deva investigate Rajasekhar's death. The autopsy says it was a heart attack, but Deva finds signs of chest trauma. Ravi then reveals Rajasekhar invented an electric chair to cremate animal remains, hoping to fund his daughters' education. His patent was rejected due to fears of misuse. Simon forced Rajasekhar to use this chair to dispose of murder victims. Dayal tries to kidnap Preethi because she knows how to operate the chair. Deva steps in and joins the operation, helping Preethi use the chair. Deva tells Preethi to quit her job, but she needs to support her sisters.
Later, Simon tells Deva to bury Dayal, claiming Dayal was an undercover cop. But they find Dayal alive. Dayal reveals his true identity and threatens Preethi. Simon shows Deva a video of Dayal killing Rajasekhar. Dayal contacts Deva from Nellore. He holds Preethi hostage and demands Deva follow his orders. Deva gains access to a harbour vault as Dayal ordered. There, he uncovers a heart-trafficking ring targeting coolies from Saravanan. Deva is ordered to kill Arjun, but he spares Arjun and tells him to escape with his lover on a boat. Dayal retaliates by threatening Preethi on a rooftop. Deva unsettles Dayal by revealing his real name, Dilip, and his past as a Constable with the Kerala Police in Thrissur.
Deva then captures Kalyani, who was posing as Arjun's lover. He demands Preethi's release. Kalyani frees herself, kills Ravi, and reveals she and Dayal are undercover partners. She orders Dayal to go after Preethi. Preethi escapes on a train but unknowingly calls Deva using a code from Rajasekhar, revealing she is Deva's daughter. Deva's aide sacrifices himself to protect Preethi from Dayal, who survives. Kalyani tells Dayal to go to her parked car, where Dayal finds Arjun.
